If Re-elected, I WILL:

  • Continue to support the outstanding education currently offered at Oakton.

  • Continue to prioritize the equity work already begun.

  • Continue to prioritize an equity assessment to inform the most equitable distribution of resources.

  • Advance awareness in the community of Oakton’s quality and programming.

  • Cultivate a broader understanding of ways Oakton credentials advance progress toward a career, a 4-year degree and lifelong learning.

A little personal info

Along with our sons, Max & Daniel, my husband Mark and I have lived in Evanston for more than 30 years.

I learned the value of community college education when, as a high school senior, I received dual credit through Wright Junior College and Chicago Public Schools.

I completed my B.A. in music at UIC and an M.A. and Ed.D. in Adult Education at National Louis University.

In our free time, Mark and I can often be found on our bikes somewhere on Sheridan Road or the Chicago lakefront.
